ABSTRACT
Warm, patient-friendly designs using lots of natural light and colors are prominent among the winning entries in the 14th annual Design Awards Competition. This year 12 of the 225 entries were chosen for their overall excellence, with the top awards going to a children's hospital project, an acute-care hospital expansion in the U.S. and an ambulatory and acute-care hospital planned in Taiwan.
