ABSTRACT

The ghost of the enteroatmospheric fistulae, pursues the surgeon, causing moments of troubles and hours of dedication. Fistula is defined as an abnormal communication between the small or large bowel and the skin and generally formed by granulation fabric and that it communicates two lined surfaces of epithelium. When this communication takes place between a viscera and the skin it is denominated enterocutánea fistula and in turn when the exit of the intestinal content spills to the atmosphere directly enteroatmosférica it is denominated. A case is presented, which presents fistula enteroatmosféricas of high expense, one of thin intestine (yeyuno) and another in transverse colon. That of thin intestine closed to the 12 weeks, but that of the transverse one has not still closed, in spite of the medical treatment the patient maintained the high expense, reason why one devises an instrument to restore the intestinal traffic and to diminish the contamination of the abdominal wall
