ABSTRACT
Bronchiolitis obliterans, with or without organizing pneumonia, represents an uncommon response of the lung to several insults, that results in chronic obstructive lung disease. We report an 11-year-old child with bronchiolitis obliterans in association with HIV infection.

We report a 5-year-old girl who presented with persistent iron-deficiency anemia. She had a history of abdominal pain and recurrent gastrointestinal bleeding. High-resolution computed tomography, esophagogastroduodenoscopy and barium meal examination revealed a congenital diaphragmatic hernia with intermittent gastric volvulus. The anemia was the result of Cameron lesions associated with diaphragmatic hernia.

Sildenafil is used in infants and children mainly for the treatment of pulmonary hypertension associated with congenital heart disease. Some side-effects of sildenafil are similar to the symptoms and signs of congestive heart failure in children. We present a case of a two-month-old infant with supracardiac total anomalous venous connection and pulmonary hypertension, who presented with severe sweating and tachycardia after institution of sildenafil therapy. He improved dramatically on discontinuation of the drug.
