ABSTRACT
Este estudio bibliográfico describe los aspectos necesarios sobre el apego que una enfermera pediátrica debe saber para fomentar el vínculo emocional entre la madre y su bebé en unidades pediátricas en el hospital. Asimismo, se describen los modelos teóricos del apego (el vínculo afectivo establecido entre la madre y su bebé) a través de una revisión de la literatura y la investigación existentes sobre este tema. También se analizan los orígenes de la Teoría del Apego y las características, tipos, beneficios y consecuencias que esta unión tiene sobre el desarrollo físico, emocional y social del niño. Finalmente, se resume el rol de la enfermera en el fortalecimiento de la dualidad madre-hijo, de ayuda al cuidado del bebé y de apoyo al entorno familiar. El protocolo cualitativo de Kitchenham (2005) se ha utilizado para extraer y sintetizar la información relevante de cada documento. Conclusión: los resultados de este estudio ponen de relieve el papel fundamental de las enfermeras en la promoción del vínculo madre-hijo a pesar de las estructuras políticas en los centros de maternidad y pediatría (AU)
This bibliographic study describes the aspects of bonding that a pediatric nurse must know to Foster the emotional attachment between a mother and her baby in the maternity hospital setting. It describes the theoretical models of bonding based on a review of the literature and research on this subject. It also discussed the origins of the bonding theory and the characteristics, types, benefits and consequences that this attachment has on the childs physical, emotional and social development. Finally, it summarizes the nurses role in strengthening mother-child duality, assisting with baby care and supporting the family environment. The qualitative protocol of Kitchenham (2205) was used to extract the relevant information. Conclusion: The results of this review highlight the key role of nurses in promoting mother-child bonding despite political structures in maternity an pediatric centers (AU)
