ABSTRACT
On selection of external bleeding models for preclinical evaluation of the effectiveness of local haemostatic agents (literature review). To temporarily stop of external bleeding traditionally use a pressure bandage or tourniquet, but not for all types of wounds it is possible and appropriate to apply these dressings. In recent times there has been significant progress in the development and improvement of local haemostatic agents used for the first aid. There are currently conflicting information about their effectiveness, presented by various authors, requires standardization of experimental modelsforpre-clinical testing of medical devices in this class. Following a review of domestic and foreign literature DroDosed to standardize external bleeding model for assessing the effectiveness of local haemostatic agents.

The current status of first aid in the Russian Federation is covered. The necessity and the basic principles o first aid in the country are formulated, the need for the creation of which is due to the involvement of first aid to victims wide range of people, including and without health education. The necessity of developing and adopting the number of regulations to administrate various aspects of first aid, changes in existing regulations, as well as the establishment and functioning of the interagency coordinating council on first aid. The principles of operation of the system of training of participants in first aid, equipping them with the means to administer first aid are suggested.

Serious organizational gaps related with the practice of cardiac-pulmonary reanimation still persist in Russia until now. Therefore, it is suggested to work out unified state standards of primary and advanced reanimation complexes and training schemes in cardiac-pulmonary reanimation for medical and other population categories as well as the stage-by-stage dissemination of such standards throughout the country's territory.
