ABSTRACT

With the application of encoders in artificial intelligence and aerospace, the demand for the miniaturization and high measurement accuracy of encoders is increasing. To solve this problem, a new absolute matrix encoder is proposed in this paper, which can realize 19-bit matrix coding by engraving two circles of matrix code, and has the advantages of fewer circles of code disk engraving and higher measurement accuracy. This article mainly focuses on the design of a new matrix code disk, encoding and decoding methods, decoding circuit design, Matlab simulation analysis, and experimental error analysis. The experimental results show that the encoder designed in this paper achieves ultra-small volume Φ30 mm × 20 mm, and the angle measurement accuracy is 2.57".

ABSTRACT

Organophosphate flame retardants (OPFRs) can rapidly biotransform into two types of metabolites in biota: (1) organophosphate diesters (DAPs) and (2) hydroxylated OPFRs (HO-OPFRs). Therefore, the levels of parent OPFRs alone are not sufficient to indicate OPFR pollution in biological organisms. This study analyzed 12 OPFR metabolites, including 6 DAPs and 6 HO-OPFRs, in a typical freshwater food chain consisted of crucian carp, catfish, mud carp, snakehead, and oriental river prawn. The total concentrations of OPFR metabolites were comparable to those of parent OPFRs, and ranged from 0.65 to 17 ng/g ww. Bis(2-butoxyethyl) 3'-hydroxy-2-butoxyethyl phosphate (14%-77%), di-n-butyl phosphate (DNBP) (6.7%-24%), bis(1-chloro-2-propyl) phosphate (BCIPP) (0.7%-35%), and 1-hydroxy-2-propyl bis(1-chloro-2-propyl) phosphate (BCIPHIPP) (6.0%-24%) were the major OPFR metabolites. Various aquatic species exhibited significant differences in their OPFR metabolite/parent ratios (MPR) (p < 0.05), indicating varying biotransformation potentials of different organisms for various OPFRs. The growth-independent accumulation of tri-n-butyl phosphate (TNBP), tris(chloro-2-propyl) phosphate (TCIPP), triphenyl phosphate, and 2-ethylhexyl diphenyl phosphate in mud carps could be explained by their biotransformation potential. A significant negative correlation was found between the concentration of bis(2-butoxyethyl) phosphate and δ15N values (p < 0.05), with a calculated trophic magnification factor (TMF) of 0.66. Significant positive correlations were observed between BCIPP and TCIPP (R2 = 0.25, p < 0.05), as well as between DNBP and TNBP (R2 = 0.30, p < 0.01), implying that these two DAPs could be used as biomarkers to quantitatively assess TCIPP and TNBP contamination in wild aquatic organisms.

BACKGROUND: Most intracranial aneurysms (IAs) will be abnormal bulges on the walls of intracranial arteries that result from the dynamic interaction of geometric morphology, hemodynamics, and pathophysiology. Hemodynamics plays a key role in the origin, development, and rupture of IAs. In the past, hemodynamic studies of IAs were mostly based on the rigid wall hypothesis of computational fluid dynamics, and the influence of arterial wall deformation was ignored. We used fluid-structure interaction (FSI) to study the features of ruptured aneurysms, because it can solve this problem very well and the simulation will be more realistic. METHODS: A total of 12 IAs, 8 ruptured and 4 unruptured, at the middle cerebral artery bifurcation were studied using FSI to better identify the characteristics of ruptured IAs. We studied the differences in the hemodynamic parameters, including the flow pattern, wall shear stress (WSS), oscillatory shear index (OSI), and displacement and deformation of the arterial wall. RESULTS: Ruptured IAs had a larger low WSS area and more complex, concentrated, and unstable flow. Also, the OSI was higher. In addition, the displacement deformation area at the ruptured IA was more concentrated and larger. CONCLUSIONS: A large aspect ratio; a large height/width ratio; complex, unstable, and concentrated flow patterns with small impact areas; a large low WSS region; large WSS fluctuation, high OSI; and large displacement of the aneurysm dome could be risk factors associated with aneurysm rupture. If similar cases are encountered when simulation is used in the clinic, priority should be given to diagnosis and treatment.

ABSTRACT

Reactive oxygen species (ROS) play important regulatory roles in plant growth and development, as well as in cell differentiation and stress responses. Respiratory burst oxidase homolog (RBOH) is the key enzyme in ROS production. So far, the Rboh family genes in Pyropia yezoensis have not been comprehensively characterized, and whether their function was involved in the formation of archeospores is still unknown. In this study, a total of 11 PyRboh genes were identified from the P. yezoensis genome by homology mining. Through phylogenetic analysis, it is suggested that the PyRboh genes were evolutionarily conserved among the lineages of red algae, but a few genes exhibited a species-specific manner. The treatment of P. yezoensis blades with NADPH oxidase inhibitor diphenylene iodonium (DPI) could significantly inhibit the formation of archeospores, suggesting that RBOH may be involved in the formation of archeospores. According to PyRboh gene expression analysis using the P. yezoensis strains with obvious differences in releasing archeospores, it is showed that the expression trends of most genes were consistent, with no significant difference between strains, whereas the expression pattern of the two P. yezoensis-specific genes (PyRbohJ and PyRbohK) was positively correlated with the amount of archeospores. Furthermore, as treatment of blades with allantoin resulted in a significant increase in the release of archeospores, the expression levels of PyRbohJ and PyRbohK were also consistently upregulated, further confirming the relationship between the two genes and archeospore formation. These findings provide insights into the molecular mechanism of P. yezoensis archeospore formation.

ABSTRACT

Photoelectric encoders are widely used in high-precision measurement fields such as industry and aerospace because of their high precision and reliability. In order to improve the subdivision accuracy of moiré grating signals, a particle swarm optimization compensation model for grating the subdivision error of a photoelectric encoder based on parallel iteration is proposed. In the paper, an adaptive subdivision method of a particle swarm search domain based on the honeycomb structure is proposed, and a raster signal subdivision error compensation model based on the multi-swarm particle swarm optimization algorithm based on parallel iteration is established. The optimization algorithm can effectively improve the convergence speed and system accuracy of traditional particle swarm optimization. Finally, according to the subdivision error compensation algorithm, the subdivision error of the grating system caused by the sinusoidal error in the system is quickly corrected by taking advantage of the high-speed parallel processing of the FPGA pipeline architecture. The design experiment uses a 25-bit photoelectric encoder to verify the subdivision error algorithm. The experimental results show that the actual dynamic subdivision error can be reduced to ½ before compensation, and the static subdivision error can be reduced from 1.264″ to 0.487″ before detection.

ABSTRACT

In aircraft manufacturing, the vertical accuracy of connection holes is important indicator of the quality of holes making. Aircraft products have high requirements for the vertical accuracy of holes positions. When drilling and riveting are performed by an automatic robotic system, assembly errors, bumps, offsets and other adverse conditions, can affects the accuracy of manufacturing and detection, and in turn the fatigue performance of the entire structure. To solve this problem, we proposed a technology for detecting the normal-direction based on the adaptive alignment method, built a mathematical model for posture alignment, and studied the calibration method and mechanism of the detection device. Additionally, we investigated techniques for error compensation using an electronic theodolite and other devices when the adaptive method is used for detection. In verification experiments of the method, multiple sets of results demonstrated that the key technical indicators are as follows: normal accuracy <0.5°, average deviation after correction =0.0667°. This method can effectively compensate the errors affecting hole making work in automated manufacturing, and further improve the positioning accuracy and normal-direction detection accuracy of the robot.

As a book with significant historical materials for the research of impediment disease not to be ignored, Shen nong ben cao jing (Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica) contains, among its 365 kinds of materia medica, 75 kinds of medicines related to impediment disease. Among the latter ones, 51 are related to "damp impediment", "cold-damp impediment", "wind-cold-damp impediment", "wind impediment", "wind-damp impediment", and "cold impediment"; 16 are related to "laryngeal impediment", "general impediment", and "blood impediment"; 8 are related to "muscular impediment", "stomach impediment", "hernia-conglomeration impediment", "internal consumptive-thirst impediment", "wilting impediment", and "hemiplegic impediment". To systematically analyze the properties, tastes, and effects of these medicines and its related knowledge, and then further explore the overall recognition and their treating experience of the physicians at that period would not only enrich the historical research on impediment disease, but also offer much help and reference to the understanding and treatment of impediment for contemporary clinicians.
