ABSTRACT

We studied expression of inducible NO synthase gene in human brain under conditions of acute or chronic intoxication. Acute alcohol intoxication was accompanied by changes in enzyme expression in certain brain structures.

ABSTRACT

In acute reduction of circulation, the activity of capillary enzymes was found to be reduced as well. The reduced activity of the K,Na-ATPase in a later period was followed by the return to its normal level.
