ABSTRACT

While application of dynamical omentopancreatopexy for the treatment of necrotic pancreatitis there were noted the purulent and visceral complications frequency lowering from 3.34 in every patient--while the closed interventions usage down to 2.02 and of mortality--from 57.2 down to 33% accordingly.

ABSTRACT

The results of treatment of 630 patients with peritonitis of different etiology are presented. In 170 patients with purulent peritonitis, the programmed laparostomy was used in the complex of treatment. A good immediate and long-term result was noted. Lethality reduced by 17.3%.

ABSTRACT

The results of treatment of 481 patient operated on for obstructive jaundice have been analysed. In 388 (80.7%) patients, jaundice was caused by non-tumor lesion of the bile ducts. At the peak of jaundice, operated on were 312 (64.9%) patients, who experienced no benefit from conservative therapy. The tactics for operative intervention was chosen individually with regard for the cause of jaundice, concomitant pathology and age of a patient. The main cause of death was the aggravating hepato-renal failure due to prolonged jaundice and late hospitalization.

ABSTRACT

The analysis of operative interventions performed for acute cholecystitis in 3324 patients was carried out. Local peritonitis was revealed in 149 (52.3%) patients, the diffuse one--in 136 (47.7%). Depending on the character of contents of the abdominal cavity, the authors distinguish purulent, biliary and mixed peritonitis. The general principles of tactics for surgical treatment and its different variants depending on a type of peritonitis are substantiated.

ABSTRACT

The experience with treatment of acute ileus for the 5 years in 1032 patients is summarized. Operated on were 269 patients. The different types of operative interventions with a wide use of intubation, adsorbents, laparostomy were performed. The postoperative lethality was 9.2%.

ABSTRACT

The analysis of lethal outcomes in 108 (3.66%) of the 2974 patients operated on for acute cholecystitis was carried out. In 40.4% of the patients, mainly the elderly and senile, a death was caused by acute hepatorenal failure.
