ABSTRACT
This paper will present a review of the literature on hallux limitus, including etiology, clinical findings, radiographic findings, and surgical treatment. Criteria for the treatment of this problem will also be presented.

Prompt recognition of cellulitis, osteomyelitis, diabetic osteolysis, Charcot neuroarthropathy, septic synovitis, and deep plantar abscesses in the diabetic foot is essential because the therapy is drastically different. Differential diagnosis has been greatly facilitated by recently developed scanning techniques.

This study was made to evaluate a new method of postoperative care in phenol nail procedures. The authors believe Debrisan to be as effective as any procedure in current use. They state that there is a scarcity of literature to substantiate many of the existing treatment regimens.
