ABSTRACT
It is currently proved ulcerous stomatitis and duodenal ulcer to have common pathogenetic infectious link (the most studied agent being Helicobacter pylori) by concominant decrease of local and general immunity with hyperoxidation events. Eighty patients (44 female and 36 male aged 15-60) with chronic aphthous stomatitis (AS) combined with duodenal ulcer were included in the study and divided in two equal groups according to treatment received (control group of 40 patients was treated according to conventional scheme, while in 40 patients a new formulation Vipromak was added to treatment protocol). The symptoms of AS tend to resolve faster in vipromak group thus proving its efficiency in treatment of AS and duodenal ulcer.

There was studied the traumatic disease course in 11 pregnant women with different variants of severe combined thoracic and abdominal trauma, constituting 1.6% of total number of injured persons, suffering polytrauma. Polytrauma have had caused severe course of traumatic disease in majority of pregnant women. In the early postshock period the complications had occurred in 90.9% of injured persons. Antenatal death of fetus was noted in 81.8% of pregnant women with polytrauma. All pregnant women after polytrauma are alive.

The authors examined 66 patients with ischemic heart disease and concomitant cervico-thoracic osteochondrosis and 22 patients without osteochondrosis. Differences were revealed in values of the systemic hemodynamics with prevalence of the hypokinetic type in patients with combined pathology. Inclusion of magnetotherapy in the treatment complex of patients with ischemic heart disease and osteochondrosis favours clinical improvement, normalization of indices of central and regional blood circulation.

A study in presented of 25 patients with exertion stenocardia (class II-III) in association with cervicothoracic osteochondrosis. The authors established the diagnostic value of vertebral load tests in the differentiation of vertebra-dependent changes of the electrocardiogram in case of association of ischemic heart disease with osteochondrosis.

Sixty-four workers having contact with fluorine compounds under industrial conditions showed a rise in urine fluorine concentration, prolongation of the period of left ventricle tension primarily due to the isometric tension phase. The ejection was shortened mainly due to the phase of rapid ejection. The shortening of the time of pulse wave distribution, a decrease in vascular elasticity, and an increase in the peripheral resistance index were noted. Intake of fruit gel from apple pectin promoted a decrease in urine fluorine concentration, improved the hemodynamics and myocardial contractility.
