ABSTRACT
Conversion disorder is a difficult diagnosis. The patients' psychiatric backgrounds and the complexity of the diagnosis of some neurologic diseases are the main reasons for diagnostic errors. Based on one observation, the diagnostic criteria and the differential diagnosis of conversion disorder are addressed.

ABSTRACT
The authors report the case of a young 18 year-old man presenting delayed encephalopathy after severe intoxication with carbon monoxide, and transient cerebral swelling. This condition is characterized by diffuse demyelinating lesions of both cerebral hemispheres, the mechanism of which is unknown.
