ABSTRACT
En este trabajo se realizó un análisis de los factores histórico-sociales que influyeron en la aparición de esta tendencia, a partir de una reseña histórica de la educación desde la perspectiva de la formación de las bases para su desarrollo. Así también se destacan cuáles son las características esenciales de la misma y cómo a través de su aplicación podemos influir de forma positiva en la formación integral de nuestros estudiantes.
