ABSTRACT

Variability of the dimensional structure in the hemipopulation Thominx neopulchra females from 3 species of the genus Myotis bats in the Zhiguli State Reserve was examined. The size of T. neopulchra from different bat species varied within the limits constituting 10.17-13.41 mm. It was demonstrated that the variability of the dimensional structure in the subpopulation group T. neopulchra from Daubenton's bats did not depend on the number of parasites in the host and the season and is probably determined by the genetic polymorphism of the parasite population.

ABSTRACT

Variability of absolute fecundity of nematode Thominx neopulchra from three species of genus Myotis was studies on the territory Zhiguli State Reserve in 2007, 2008. Significant differences in the fecundity of the nematode females depending on host species and sex, size of the parasite, number of the helminthes in a given host, and season of year were revealed.

ABSTRACT

Features of reproductive structure of the Thominx neopulchra hemipopulation from Daubenton's bat from Zhiguli State Reserve are studied. It is established, that females and males of Th. neopulchra have different dynamics of coming in the host population. Males of the parasite invade the of Daubenton's bat population during all the year, while females infest the host only from May to November. Maturing of helminthes become slowed in winter period. Only about a half of of the host population is involved in the forming of the reproductive structure of Th. neopulchra hemipopulation.

ABSTRACT

Age structure and dynamics of abundance of adult Opisthioglyphe ranae, a parasite of intestine of lake frog, are analyzed. In the period of activity of the host (May-October), the hemipopulation of O. ranae maritae is represented by two generations, which are situated in host lesser than one year and differ from each other in the rate of maturation.

ABSTRACT

The reproductive structure of the nematode Camallanus truncatus in the population of the perch Perca fluviatilis in dependence upon host's size and seasons was studied. It is recovered, that only the bigger sized host groups influence the formation of reproductive-functional structure of the C. truncatus hemipopulation.

ABSTRACT

Typification and some qualitative characteristics of populations of the fish helminths are given which allow to explain some peculiarities of their numbers, genetical interrelations, action of immunological factor. Simplification of the structure of helminth populations provokes large fluctuations of the helminths number. Differences in the structure of helminth populations are to be considered as one of mechanisms of development of stability of parasitic system.

ABSTRACT

It was established that host individuals, characterized by a high stability of development, play the main part in the functioning of bream-D. interrupta system. Heterozygous breams turned out to be more stable to the effect of pleurocercoids than homozygous ones. Genetically determined characters of bream infection with pleurocercoids of D. interrupta have been revealed. Mechanism of population genetic relationships in this parasitic system is discussed.

ABSTRACT

The character of the distribution of the plerocercoid D. interrupta in the bream Abramis brama from the Kuibyshev water reservoir was studied. The spread of the parasites in A. brama population is of complex character and changes with the increase of fish body length. The factors affecting the maintenance and regulation of the relationships in the host-parasite system (size composition of fishes, peculiarities of the host's genotype, values of occurrence of different numbers of the parasites, variability of plerocercoids) are discussed.

ABSTRACT

The character of the distribution of pleurocercoids of Triaenophorus nodulosus depending on the host age is shown. Their distribution in perch at the age of 0+-4+ is over dispersed in its character and is described by negative binomial. At the age of 5+ to 8+ the distribution of parasites is of regular character that is apparently due to changes in the mechanism of regulation of the parasites number. The regulation mechanism of the number of pleurocercoids of T. nodulosus is discussed.
