[The role of examination of hemostatic system during pregnancy in prophylaxis of obstetrical hemorrhages]. / Znachenie issledovania sistemy gemostaza pri beremennosti v profilaktike akusherskikh krovotechenii.

The paper provides the results of a 8-year practice of the Leningrad City Obstetric and Hematological Center. The setting up of the center has ensured effective prevention of labour bleedings in the following pathological conditions of pregnants: gestosis, varicosity, anemic syndrome, and blood diseases. An algorithm has been developed for examining pregnants; recommendations are given for the management of pregnancy, labour and for the correction of hemostasiological disorders.
