ABSTRACT
El estudio que se presenta está centrado en aquellas circunstancias y acontecimientos que estuvieron a punto de hacer desaparecer los estudios de Farmacia en esta provincia. Frente a estas adversidades vamos a resaltar la actitud, defensa y movimientos que realizó el decano, Mariano del Amo y Mora en su momento. Cierto es que dependiendo del rector de turno, con cuyo apoyo contaba a veces, las mínimas, más bien se puede decir que tuvo que luchar con el poder institucional. Los resultados son hoy conocidos: estamos celebrando el XXIX Congreso del Mediterráneo Latino en esta Facultad de Farmacia de Granada. Las fuentes documentales utilizadas en el presente estudio proceden en su mayoría del Archivo Universitario de Granada(AU)
The study presented is focused on the circumstances and events that were about to disappear pharmacy studies in this province. Faced with these hardships we are going to highlight the attitude, defense, and actions that made, at the time, the dean, Mariano del Amo y Mora. It is true that depending on the rector of the day, with whose support was sometimes, the least, more can be said that he had to struggle with institutional power. The results are now known: we are celebrating the XXIX International Congress of Latin Mediterranean Pharmaceutical Society in the Faculty of Pharmacy of Granada.
