ABSTRACT
Se realizó un estudio descriptivo retrospectivo, que incluyó las series de mortalidad infantil según datos de los registros estadísticos de la Dirección Sectorial Provincial de Salud de Granma de los años 2016 y 2017. Como universo y muestra fueron los nacidos en los años 2016 y 2017, respectivamente. Como resultado se obtuvo que existieron 476 nacimientos menos que en el año 2016, la mortalidad infantil aumentó en 1,2; la mortalidad perinatal aumentó en 0,4 más, el bajo peso al nacer aumentó en 0,4 más, la mortalidad preescolar disminuyó en 2,6 y la mortalidad escolar aumentó en 0,5 más. Llegamosa la conclusión que los resultados del PAMI en el 2017 no fueron buenos de forma general en la provincia Granma y se deben trazar estrategias urgentes para tratar de disminuir las cifras alcanzadas para obtener buenos resultados en el próximo año 2018(AU)
A retrospective descriptive study was carried out, which included the series of infant mortality according to data from the statistical records of the Granma Provincial Health Directorate for the years 2016 and 2017. The universe and sample were those born in the years 2016 and 2017, respectively. As a result, there were 476 fewer births than in 2016, infant mortality increased by 1.2; perinatal mortality increased by 0.4 more, low birth weight increased by 0.4 more, pre-school mortality decreased by 2.6, and school mortality increased by 0.5 more. We conclude that the results of the PAMI in 2017 were not generally good in the Granma province and urgent strategies must be drawn up to try to reduce the figures reached in order to obtain good results in the next year 2018(EU)
