ABSTRACT

In France, since the law of June 17, 1998, sexual offenders may be convicted to ambulatory mandatory care, articulated with the justice. Twenty years after the implementation of this law, while social and technological developments have redefined certain aspects of delinquency, reference documents and practice guidelines remain to be updated. This is why the professionals of the main structures and associations dealing with perpetrators of sexual violence organized a public hearing under the sponsorship of the French Federation of Resource Centers for Sexual Violence Perpetrators (FFCRIAVS) according to the methodology and with the accompaniment of the High Authority of Health. This article presents the global methodology of the public hearing "Sexual Offenders: Prevention, Evaluation and Care" which was conducted on June 14 and 15, 2018. Thirty-three experts replied to27 questions and presented their conclusions to an Audition Committee and an audience of 200 persons representative of the civil and professional society. After a public debate, the hearing committee prepared a report in which they proposed propositions in order to better care for sexual offenders.

ABSTRACT

Regular physical exercice has undeniable cardiovascular benefits and improves life expectancy. This benefice seems limited to moderate intensity exercises. Intense and chronic physical exercice would lead to heart structural changes. For a long time, knowledge of these cardiac effects seemed limited to the left ventricle. Since more authors have shown that right ventricle is vulnerability to the effects of intense chronic training. We report a Gallavardin-type ventricular stress tachycardia in a young with healthy hearted; in whom a right infundibular arrhythmogenic focus has been found in the absence of structural alteration of the right ventricle. Intense athletic activity may reveal a latent arrhythmogenic focus through sympathetic activation. Ablation was the preferred therapeutic strategy, preferred to drug therapy and derived from an analysis of risk-benefit ratios.

ABSTRACT

The aim of the partnership is the establishment and operation of a centre open 24 hours a day which receives and treats adults and underage victims of sexual assault and physical abuse coming from the greater metropolitan area of Besançon. The centre also provides the victims and their families with adapted forensic and psychotherapeutic assistance. The mechanisms to carry out the project will be set out in a contract between the two hospitals, including the resources of the two institutions. The centre will fit into the existing network of partners which is already operational in Besançon. The role of the University of Besançon and the Faculty of Medicine will be to promote research in the field of physical abuse, its causes and effects, and to train future physicians who will later be in charge of handling these types of cases in their careers.
