ABSTRACT

A new diagnostic method for estimation of functional state of optic nerves with vasoactive drug corinfar is described in the article. 25 patients with simple optical nerve atrophy related to lesions of chiasmal area were examined. The conclusion was made that use of corinfar in atrophy of nervus opticus allows to assess more accurately functional state of the organ and prognosticate recovery of vision in postoperative period.

ABSTRACT

The authors proposed and tried a method of complex treatment cerebral venous dystonias (hypertensive type) including along with traditional drug treatment also intranasal administration of novodrin and electrostimulation of the mastoid zone of the scalp. Of 36 patients with clinical disorders of the venous cerebral circulation (hypertensive type evaluated rheoencephalographically) after closed head injuries 24 patients showed a recovery or significant improvement, 10--an improvement and 2--remained unchanged.

ABSTRACT

The results of treatment of 107 young and middle aged sufferers with mild craniocerebral trauma have been analysed. The regimen for use of hyperbaric oxygenation contributing to normalization of general cerebral, focal disorders in high nervous and psychic activity, prevention of certain posttraumatic complications has been developed.

ABSTRACT

On the basis of the data of complex studies, the signs of changes in the bioelectrical activity of the brain, state of its middle structures and hemodynamics in favourable and lethal outcome of craniocerebral trauma complication by intracranial hemorrhage have been established. Early detection of the signs mentioned contributed to improvement in the results of treatment at the acute period.

ABSTRACT

Patients with a history of cerebral infarction showed in the postischemic period a eukinetic and hypokinetic type of the systemic hemodynamics. Disorders of the cerebral circulation are mainly manifested in hypoperfusion of the cerebral blood vessels. Hypoperfusion of the brain tissue may be one of the hemodynamic indications to the operation of extra- and intracranial microanastomosis.
