[Testicular epidermoid cyst. Report of 2 clinical cases and review of the literature]. / Quiste epidermoide de testículo. A propósito de dos casos clínicos y revisión de la literatura.

OBJECTIVE: To report two cases of epidermoid cyst of the testis, with special reference to the diagnostic and therapeutic aspects, and to review the literature. METHODS: Two cases of epidermoid cyst of the testis are presented: one patient consulted for testicular swelling and the other for supraclavicular lymphadenopathy. RESULTS: In both cases the pathological diagnosis was testicular epidermoid cyst. CONCLUSIONS: Testicular epidermoid cysts are uncommon. High frequency ultrasonography is a reliable diagnostic imaging method. Treatment by tumor enucleation with preservation of the testis is advocated, when possible.

OBJETIVO: Este trabajo pretende aportar dos casos más a la literatura de esta infrecuente entidad haciendo hincapié en aspectos del diagnóstico y del tratamiento, y revisar la bibliografía al respecto. MÉTODO: Se presenta un paciente que consulta por tumoración testicular y otro que lo hace por adenopatía supraclavicular y lesión testicular. RESULTADO: El diagnóstico anátomo patológico fue de quiste epidermoide testicular en ambos casos. CONCLUSIONES: El tumor epidermoide testicular es de aparición clínica poco frecuente. La ultrasonografía de alta frecuencia es un método de diagnóstico eficaz en esta patología. En cuanto al tratamiento abogamos por la enucleación tumoral con preservación testicular (AU)
