ABSTRACT
The recently discovered pneumococcus serotype 6C was responsible for ten of the 1,530 invasive isolates studied between 1990 and 2009. These ten isolates belonged to seven sequence types (STs) and were isolated only from adult patients: six with bacteremia, three with meningitis, and one with peritonitis. All isolates but one were fully penicillin-susceptible.

The use of ultrasound in the removed of intraradicular posts has been reported in the literature. Nevertheless, when there are fragments of fractured posts inside of the rood canal, the use of the ultrasonic machine may perforate them. With the magnification of the intages that the clinic microscope provide is possible the removal of theses fragments more precise, fast and safe. We present cases of removal of fractured posts using Cavi-Endo ultrasound and Carl-Zeiss clinic microscope (AU)
