PIP: An analysis of recent trends in demographic aging in the Spanish region of Castilla-Leon is presented. "The structural characteristics which allow a valuation of the demographic dynamic of a given group do not offer an optimistic outlook for Castilla-Leon, due to the index of old age registered. PIP: Demographic trends in the Spanish region of Castilla-Leon are analyzed. The author notes that this region, which covers 19% of the national territory, contains only 7% of the total population. The region is experiencing a significant degree of demographic aging due to many causes, including both out-migration and declining fertility. Details of the aging process in the various districts and subdivisions of the region are also provided.
