PIP: An analysis of recent trends in demographic aging in the Spanish region of Castilla-Leon is presented. "The structural characteristics which allow a valuation of the demographic dynamic of a given group do not offer an optimistic outlook for Castilla-Leon, due to the index of old age registered. PIP: Demographic trends in the Spanish region of Castilla-Leon are analyzed. The author notes that this region, which covers 19% of the national territory, contains only 7% of the total population. The region is experiencing a significant degree of demographic aging due to many causes, including both out-migration and declining fertility. Details of the aging process in the various districts and subdivisions of the region are also provided. The author sees no alternative to the regions negative demographic situation in the foreseeable future. (ANNOTATION)^ieng
