ABSTRACT

Inlet damage to clothes material caused by point-blank shots from a special submachine guns Val, 9-A-91, sniper complex BCK-4 furnished with a soundless non-flame shooting devices (SNSD) was studied in experiment. Specific features of the affection and shot products distribution (shape, size, topography, accumulation of soot metals, etc.) were specified which allow judgement about guns and range of shot. How SNSD construction and shot range influence the above characteristics is shown. A relevant case is reported.

ABSTRACT

A retrospective analysis was made on traumas associated with hepatic injury. Signs-lesions in different kinds of trauma are characterized. A mathematic probabilistic method for differential diagnosis of a traumatic impact by hepatic lesion was applied. The findings can be used in conduction of forensic-medical examinations for the kind and mechanism of trauma.

ABSTRACT

The contents of glucose, glycogen, creatinine and urea were examined in 240 samples of cadaveric blood; the same examinations were made for 240 samples of the myocardium, as well as of muscles of the skeleton and liver in craniocerebral trauma and acutely impaired cerebral circulation. A statistically reliable dependence of the contents of glucose and glycogen on a trauma extent was defined.

ABSTRACT

The paper gives the results of tests for influence of luminol solution of different composition on detectability of haptoglobin fractions in the bloodstains of different ages. It was stated that alkaline luminol solutions reduce intensity of fractions and may hamper Hp phenotype determination especially in old stains.
