ABSTRACT

Dynamics of intraabdominal pressure (IAP) on stages of preparation for abdominoplasy was studied intraoperatively and postoperatively with the objective to avoid the abdominal compartment syndrome (ACS) occurrence. Main attention was drawn to preparation for the operation, using gradual rising of IAP in patients with relaxation of musculoaponeurotic carcass and correction of its changes under IAP control. Analysis of the results have witnessed, that abdominoplasty conduction after a certain preoperative preparation and the IAP level control intraoperatively permits to avoid ACS.

ABSTRACT

Prelamination, permitting improvement not esthetics only, but also function of the damaged region, to create necessary, by contents and configuration, vascularized complexes of tissues, is applied for effective treatment of complex defects in tissues. In experiment on laboratory animals for prelamination of vascularized flaps were applied separate and combined placement of mucosal and cartilaginous autotransplants. Results of the investigation witness possibility and efficacy of creation of content--component complexes of tissues, owing necessary characteristics for their further application in the clinic during performance of reconstructive interventions.

ABSTRACT

The results of treatment of 159 patients, suffering craniofacial region tumors, were analyzed. In tumoral invasion of cranial bones with affection of the head soft tissues the bone defects dimensions were determined and the implants prepared preoperatively, the soft tissues defects were closed, using transposition or free microsurgical transplantation of the tissues composite complexes. The complex approach application have permitted to close the bones and soft tissues defects of the head craniofacial region with achievement of subsequent functional and aesthetic result.
