ABSTRACT

Ectopia cordis is a rare congenital defect with high mortality, and it remains challenging to radiologists, neonatologists and surgeons. CT angiography provides key information that aids in the decision-making process for possible surgical intervention. This pictorial essay describes CT angiography features in six neonates with ectopia cordis.

ABSTRACT

With the addition of the primary cleft nose repair we were able to get good functional and esthetic results. We review 287 cleft lip treated between 1980 and 1997 using the rotation advancement technique with a wide underminig of the mucosal, muscular and periostal layer. Also reproducing the nasal structures in the ala tip an nasal floor with better symetry and less posibilities of secondary surgery.
