ABSTRACT

Basing on clinical material--216 injured persons with the hand burns--the method of distant detection of the hand affection area was elaborated. On the skitz (with contours of the hand palm and back surfaces, divided by orientirs on anatomic-functional regions with determined indices of every region area toward general area of the hand) the contours of the hand burn affection were lined, total area of the segments affected calculated, permitting to determine the relative area of affection of the hand external cover in presence of superficial and deep burns and their general area. While clinical trial, there was noted, that the method secures simple, precise and painless detection of the hand affection area, do not demand material-technical resources and essential expanses of time, is simply repeated and may be applied in surgical practice for optimization of treatment of the hand burn trauma.

ABSTRACT

The results of prospective randomized research of the comparison of different modes antibiotic prophylaxis by the patients with abdominal pathology are presented. In group of patients which for preventive maintenance of a surgical infection before the operation introducted intravenous 1.5 g Zinacef (cefuroxime), frequency of complications was the least. The results allow to approved, that before operation short antibiotic prophylaxis by the Zinacef--the modern standard of preventive maintenance of postoperative complications in abdominal surgery.

ABSTRACT

Hepatic transplantation constitutes a modern standard of a medical care giving to the patients with some diseases of this organ. According to the Lviv regional pathologomorphological bureau data there were choosed and analyzed in detail 144 observations of the persons, died for the 6 years period due to hepatic pathology owing. The annual maximal quantity of retrospectively--possible recipients of liver constitutes 18.3 persons, minimal--14.8 persons. Maximal index of the Lviv region adult population necessity for hepatic transplantation constitutes 8.3 interventions to 1 million of citizens, minimal one--6.7. Regional nosologic structure of the hepatic transplantation necessity corresponds with the world tendencies present.
