As neuroses de guerra e traumáticas: respostas do sujeito à barbárie / The war and traumatic neurosis: the subject´s responses to barbarism

No estado de guerra, a quebra dos imperativos de lei resulta na banalização da violência dirigida ao outro e da morte, o que afeta diretamente o limite das ações que sustentam ou destroem o laço entre os povos. Nesse cenário tão adverso, a experiência traumática inunda o aparelho psíquico, num excesso pulsional inassimilável, e deixa o sujeito submergido no trauma, na neurose, sem condições de simbolização, refém da repetição compulsiva do acontecimento danoso. Diante da angústia devastadora do psiquismo, a análise dos sujeitos neurotizados pela guerra é uma necessidade urgente. Nesse sentido, a Psicanálise oferece uma escuta diferenciada por ser balizada pela ética do sujeito do inconsciente.(AU)

In a state of war, the breaking of law results in the trivialization of death and violence towards the other, and this affects the limits of actions that strengthen or destroy bonds among peoples. In such scenery, the traumatic experience invades the psyche submerging the subject into trauma, neurosis, leaving no conditions for symbolization; the subject, then, becomes a hostage of the compulsive repetition of a negative happening. Because of the devastating anguish of the psyche, the analysis of neurotized subjects is an urgent necessity. In this sense, psychoanalysis provides a distinct opportunity for listening, marked by the presence of the ethics of the subject of the unconsciousness.(AU)

Uma experiência no Timor Leste / An experience in East Timor

O artigo aborda algumas reflexões freudianas sobre a experiência traumática provocada pela guerra, devido ao excesso pulsional inassimilável, capaz de deixar o sujeito submergido no trauma, na neurose, sem condições de simbolização, refém do desamparo e mal estar. A partir de uma viagem ao Timor Leste, a autora procede à análise das atrocidades praticadas contra os timorenses e do trauma configurado no olhar do povo do leste-timorense, considerado a encarnação do desamparo e do mal estar resultante dos conflitos e instabilidade que ainda permanecem naquelas terras.(AU)

This article addresses some reflections of Freudian traumatic experience caused by the war, due to excessive drive unassimilable able to leave the subject immersed in trauma, neurosis, with no conditions of symbolization, hostage of helplessness and malaise. From a trip to East Timor, the author examines the atrocities committed against the people of Timor and configured the trauma in the eyes of the people of that country, considered the embodiment of hopelessness and malaise resulting from conflict and instability that still remain those lands.(AU)
