ABSTRACT

Binary code similarity detection plays a crucial role in various applications within binary security, including vulnerability detection, malicious software analysis, etc. However, existing methods suffer from limited differentiation in binary embedding representations across different compilation environments, lacking dynamic high-level semantics. Moreover, current approaches often neglect multi-level semantic feature extraction, thereby failing to acquire precise semantic information about the binary code. To address these limitations, this paper introduces a novel detection solution called BinBcla. This method employs an enhanced pre-training model to generate instruction embeddings with dynamic semantics for binary functions. Subsequently, multi-feature fusion technique is utilized to extract local semantic information and long-distance global features from the code, respectively, employing self-attention to comprehend the structure information of the code. Finally, an improved cosine similarity method is employed to learn relationships among all elements of the distance vectors, thereby enhancing the model's robustness to new sample functions. Experiments are conducted across different architectures, compilers, and optimization levels. The results indicate that BinBcla achieves higher accuracy, precision and F1 score compared to existing methods.

ABSTRACT

Aging entails gradual functional decline influenced by interconnected factors. Multiple hallmarks proposed as common and conserved underlying denominators of aging on the molecular, cellular and systemic levels across multiple species. Thus, understanding the function of aging hallmarks and their relationships across species can facilitate the translation of anti-aging drug development from model organisms to humans. Here, we built AgeAnnoMO (https://relab.xidian.edu.cn/AgeAnnoMO/#/), a knowledgebase of multi-omics annotation for animal aging. AgeAnnoMO encompasses an extensive collection of 136 datasets from eight modalities, encompassing 8596 samples from 50 representative species, making it a comprehensive resource for aging and longevity research. AgeAnnoMO characterizes multiple aging regulators across species via multi-omics data, comprehensively annotating aging-related genes, proteins, metabolites, mitochondrial genes, microbiotas and age-specific TCR and BCR sequences tied to aging hallmarks for these species and tissues. AgeAnnoMO not only facilitates a deeper and more generalizable understanding of aging mechanisms, but also provides potential insights of the specificity across tissues and species in aging process, which is important to develop the effective anti-aging interventions for diverse populations. We anticipate that AgeAnnoMO will provide a valuable resource for comprehending and integrating the conserved driving hallmarks in aging biology and identifying the targetable biomarkers for aging research.

ABSTRACT

Renal squamous cell carcinoma (RSCC) is very rare, and there are few reports about it so far. Here we report a unique case of renal squamous cell carcinoma examined by contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS), which has never been reported before. In addition, the results of CEUS showed some unique features, different from other imaging examinations. The purpose of this case report is to clarify the CEUS findings of this case and analyze its potential value in early diagnosis of RSCC.

ABSTRACT

Dual-phase high-entropy alloys with excellent room temperature and high-temperature properties have been widely studied as potential high-temperature structural materials. However, interface weakening causes its high-temperature performance to decline at higher temperatures, severely limiting further development. In this study, a series of Al17Cr10Fe36Ni36Mo1Hfx (x = 0, 0.03, 0.15, 0.3, 0.5, and 0.8 at%) alloys were prepared to study the effect of Hf content on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the matrix alloy. The results indicate that with the addition of the Hf, the Hf-rich phase began to precipitate at the interface and inside the B2 phase in the matrix alloy. In contrast, the morphology of both the FCC and B2 phases had no noticeable change. With the increase in Hf content, the high-temperature strength and ductility of the alloy first increased and then decreased, while the room temperature performance remained almost unchanged. Benefiting from the hindrance of the Hf-rich phase to grain boundary sliding and dislocation movement during high-temperature deformation, the tensile strength, yield strength, and plasticity of the matrix alloy increased from 474 MPa, 535 MPa, and 8.7% to 816 MPa, 923 MPa, and 42.0% for the Al17Cr10Fe36Ni36Mo1Hf0.5 alloys, respectively. This work provides a new path for designing a high-entropy alloy with excellent high-temperature mechanical properties.

ABSTRACT

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a common disease of the respiratory system, and its prevalence and mortality remain high. COPD results in continuous impairment of lung function, which severely affects the patient's work and life. In severe cases, there will be acute respiratory failure, which endangers the lives of patients, and respiratory muscle dysfunction is one of the main reasons for this result. As the diaphragm is the most important inspiratory muscle, its dysfunction has a great impact on the deterioration of respiratory function in COPD patients. With the development of ultrasound, more and more studies have found that diaphragm ultrasound can play an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of COPD patients. The main purpose of this article is to review the research progress on diaphragm ultrasound in COPD and briefly introduce diaphragmatic ultrasound examination methods.
