ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the scientificity and feasibility of using weighted rank-sum ratio (RSR) method based on diagnosis-related groups ( DRGs) indicators in nursing performance evaluation. Methods Homepage data of medical records were extracted from inpatients discharged in 2017, and " CN-DRGs" burster was used to obtain the DRGs data. Data of medical safety were obtained from the nursing adverse event management system, while data of nursing grading information and medical expenses were obtained from the hospital information system, and the patient satisfaction was obtained in a questionnaire survey. Based on the indicators available, the weighted RSR was applied to evaluate the nursing performance from the 11 dimensions, namely workload, nursing competence, nursing quality, nursing personnel allocation, patient satisfaction, etc. Results The results of the weighted RSR showed that 43, 39, and 6 wards of total 88 wards of the hospital were rated as excellent, medium and poor grades respectively. The results of ANOVA showed that the difference of the 3 grades was significant (F=170. 391, P<0.001). The nursing performance evaluation results were consistent with the actual situation. Conclusions The evaluation of nursing performance with weighted RSR method based on DRGs indicators prove its practical application value, as this method can not only provide data support for nursing personnel allocation, but also provide reference for nursing quality evaluation and supervision.

ABSTRACT

Objective Taking into account of the particular characteristics of research in primary hospitals, explore the possible impact of active research service management model for the promotion of scientific research in primary hospitals. Methods By comparing the differences of research characteristics between the university affiliated hospitals and primary hospitals, this paper explores the role of active research management services in the process of project application and daily management in the primary hospital, and the establishment of feasible scientific research incentive measurements and evaluation system. Results Implementation of the active research service management mode can improve the satisfaction degree of researchers to the research management department, and more importantly, improve the scientific research level of primary hospitals. Conclusions Scientific research managers in primary hospitals can better understand the needs of researchers, solve practical problems, release the burden of researchers, and enhance their enthusiasm for scientific research by implementing active service management mode,so as to enhance the level of scientific research in hospitals.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for simultaneous determination of liquiritin and glycyrrhizic acid in Wuwei shaji granules.METHODS:HPLC method was adopted. The determination was performed on Thermo scientific ODS-2 Hypersil column with mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.5% phosphoric acid (gradient elution) with flow rate of 1.0 mL/min.The detection wavelength was set at 237 nm,and column temperature was 25 ℃.The sample size was 20 μL.RESULTS:The linear ranges of liquiritin and glycyrrhizic acid were 48-480 μg(r=0.999 9) and 90-900 μg(r=0.999 9),respectively.The limits of quantitation were 0.55,2.10 μg/mL,and the limits of detection were 0.16,0.62 μg/mL.RSDs of precision, stability and reproducibility tests were all lower than 2.0%.The recoveries were 95.08%-97.58% (RSD=0.93%,n=6)and 95.86%-99.89% (RSD=1.67%,n=6),respectively.CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple, accurate and reproducible, and can be used for the content determination of liquiritin and glycyrrhizic acid in Wuwei shaji granules.

ABSTRACT

Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) LJB/03 was isolated from the fece of piglets infected with PEDV on a pig farm, Heilongjiang province, China. The M gene of LJB/03 was amplified from the RNA extracted directly from the fece samples by RT-PCR and cloned into pMD18-T vector. The M gene cDNA was sequenced and encompasses an open reading frame of 681 nucleotides, encoding a 226-amino acid protein. The LJB/03 M gene has a base composition of 152 adenines (22%), 153 cytosines (23%), 161 guanines (24%), and 214 thymines (31%). Sequence comparison with other PEDV strains selected from GenBank revealed that the LJB/03 M gene has a high sequence homology to those of other PEDV isolates, 97.80% with JMe2, 96.92% with KPEDV-9 (Korean field isolate), 97.36% with KPEDV-9 (Korean), 97.80% with Br1/87, and 97.94% with CV777. The encoded protein shared 97.79% amino acid identities compared with CV777, 97.35% with Br1/87, 97.79% with JMe2, 96.90% with KPEDV-9 (Korean field isolate), 96.46% with KPEDV-9 (Korean). Sequence analysis of the M gene, including genetic distance measurement, phylogenetic tree analysis, and residue substitution analysis, showed that all other PED viruses analyzed fell into three groups, and the LJB/03 itself branched in an independent group. These data revealed that the M gene nucleotide sequence of LJB/03 has some mutations in comparison with the other PED viruses.
