ABSTRACT

Magneto-acoustic-electric tomography (MAET) boasts high resolution in ultrasound imaging and high contrast in electrical impedance imaging, making it of significant research value in the fields of early tumor diagnosis and bioelectrical monitoring. In this study, a method was proposed that combined high conductivity liquid metal and maximum length sequence (M sequence) coded excitation to improve the signal-to-noise ratio. It was shown that, under rotational scanning, the liquid metal significantly improved the signal-to-noise ratio of the inter-tissue magneto-acoustic-electric signal and enhanced the quality of the reconstructed image. The signal-to-noise ratio of the signal was increased by 5.6, 11.1, 21.7, and 45.7 times under the excitation of 7-, 15-, 31-, and 63-bit M sequence code, respectively. The total usage time of 31-bit M sequence coded excitation imaging was shortened by 75.6% compared with single-pulse excitation when the same signal-to-noise ratio was improved. In conclusion, the imaging method combining liquid metal and M-sequence coding excitation has positive significance for improving MAET image quality.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the influence of fat suppression technique on the parameters obtained with introvoxel incoherent motion (IVIM)for the normal hip. Methods 47 female volunteers were randomly selected to perform 1.5T MR examination with common sequence and IVIM sequence. The three different Fat suppression techniques:Fat sat,SPAIR and Water Excit were utilized respectively in T2WI sequence and IVIM sequence. The value of signal-to-noise ratio (SNR),contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR),coefficient of variation(CV), ADC,Dfast,Dslowand F values for three methods were calculated and compared quantitatively. The consistency evaluation of these methods were also conducted. Results (1)ADC value and Dslowvalue obtained with the Water Excit method were higher than those with Fat sat and SPAIR statistically(P<0.05),however there was no significant differences between the SNR,CNR,CV,Dfastand F values measured in three fat suppression methods(P>0.05).(2)The results of Fat sat and SPAIR techniques exhibited good consistency. Conclusion In Water Excit technique, overestimation of the ADC and Dslowvalues may be presented, while the IVIM measurement results are not influenced by the use of Fat sat or SPAIR method.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the effect of quality control circle in the reduction of medicine waiting time for out‐patients .Methods Analyze the reason of the increase of medicine waiting time for out‐patients was analyzed .Specific plan was made and carried out .Medicine waiting time for out‐patients before and after the intervention was compared by statistic analy‐sis ,and the effect of quality control circle was assessed .Results The average medicine waiting time for out‐patients after inter‐vention was 14 .47 min ,which was 2 .45 min shorter than the average time before the intervention;67 .78% of the patients got their medicine within 15 min after the intervention ,which was 10 .61% higher than that of before the intervention ;the quality control methods ,abilities of solving problems and working initiative of the quality control circle stuffwere improved .Conclusion Quality control circle is capable of increasing dispensing efficiency ,shortening medicine waiting time for out‐patients ,and promoting the core competitiveness of dispensary of traditional Chinese medicine .

ABSTRACT

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of compound hypoglycemic Yuye oral liquor combined with metfo-ma and glimepiride in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus ( deficiency of both Qi and Yin) . Methods:Totally 80 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group with 40 each, both groups were treated with met-formin hydrochloride tablets and glimepiride tablets, the treatment group was given compound hypoglycemic Yuye oral liquor additional-ly, and the treatment duration was 12 weeks. At the end of the treatment, fasting plasma glucose( FPG) , postprandial 2 hours plasma glucose(2hPG), hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c)and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM ) syndrome in the two groups were compared. Re-sults:In both groups, FPG, 2hPG and HbAlc were decreased after the treatment, and the decrease in the treatment group was more notable than that in the control group with statistically significant difference (P<0. 05 or P<0. 01). As for TCM syndrome, the score in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group with statistically significant difference (P<0. 01). The clinical efficien-cy in the treatment group was 47. 5%, that was 22. 5% in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0. 05). Conclusion:Compound hypoglycemic Yuyeoral liquor can reduce the blood glucose in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients( deficiency of Qi and Yin) , and the improvement of clinical symptom is striking with good safety and clinical application value.

ABSTRACT

@#: Objective To develop a rehabilitation device and software game, and provide the system for evaluation and training of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction.MethodsThe development and clinical application of a biofeedback knee joint movement rehabilitation system for ACL reconstruction were very important.ResultsBIOKS readings reproduce Zebris 3D motion analysis system measurements reliably between 0° and 150° ( P>0.05). Significant knee joint movement training effect ( P<0.05 ) in JPS assessment. However, there were no differences ( P≥0.05) between SST and KAS assessments.ConclusionThe improvement of joint position sense and body centroid sway under single leg support conditions.
