ABSTRACT

Forty nine patients with carcinoma of the uterine body were examined. Four hundred ninety one normal females served as controls. The risk factors included: age over 30, premenstrual tension syndrome and postmenopausal uterine bleeding, advanced age at first pregnancy, infertility, hormonal treatment, mammary gland disorders, irregular prophylactic follow-up.

ABSTRACT

On basis of the investigations authors found out that threat of cancerous process is related to increasingly growing disturbances in tissue trophics in disturbances in the process of growth and differentiation of glandular cells of mucosa of uterine corpus as well as increased capacity of cytoplasmic receptor to estrogen and elevated fibrinolytic activity of endometrium.

ABSTRACT

The studied material comprised samples of 31 cases of human endometrium. The material was divided into groups in relation to histological picture of the endometrium. It has been concluded that surface endometrial epithelium is characteristic of changes during menstrual cycles. We could observe cilliary and secretory cells in the epithelim. In pathological conditions of human endometrium the authors also observed the above mentioned two types of cells. The surface endometrial epithelium in pathological states is deprived of the features observed in luteal phase of the menstrual cycle.

ABSTRACT

In our investigations we have studied both normal human endometrium and pathological endometrial tissue. Golgi system was visualized according to Aoyama technique and observed in TEM. It has been concluded that Golgi system is different in size, location and morphological features. Those differences are connected with either physiological or pathological picture of human endometrium. In pathological hyperplastic conditions of endometrium one can observe the changes in circulatory system of the cell. Thus we could accept as probable the fact of marked decrease or exclusion of secretory process of the cells.

ABSTRACT

Different strains of Trichomonas vaginalis isolated from the vagina of women with trichomoniasis were used in these investigations. The cultures were carried out on modified CPLM and Roiron media. Individuals at the highest phase of logarithmic growth underwent the observation. Preparations to be evaluated in scanning electron microscope ( JEOL - JSM -S1) were made from a condensed culture containing 500,000 individuals per ml. Each time, microscopic pictures obtained after washing, demucination and various fixation procedures and after lyophylisation were compared to each other. The pictures obtained from smears taken from the vagina of women with trichomoniasis were compared, too. Special attention was paid to the behaviour of the surface and motion organelles of the parasite.

ABSTRACT

Sixty women aged 25-72 years were examined. Endometrium of the uterine body was the direct exploratory material. The whole of the material was divided into 5 groups. Endometrium of the uterine body of women with normal menstrual cycle was considered as a control group. The investigated material was estimated histologically and histochemically. Beginning with the most benign hyperplasis of the hyperplasia glanduralis endometrium type up to malignant neoplasms, a distinct increase in accumulation of both nucleic and cytoplasmatic nucleoproteins as compared to the control group was found.
