ABSTRACT

Cor pulmonary is a partial complication of majority chronic light diseases and despite its prolonged study many questions of this problem still remain unsolved and disputable, complicated diagnosis of diseases at early stages, its development, treatment is of little efficiency and the rate of deaths is high. Working-out the algorithm of the diagnosis of cor pulmonary on the grounds of mathematical modeling and analysis of laboratory indices. Worked-out dimensionless parameters of more informational indices of aggregate particularities of formal elements of blood, lipid spectrum, the level human interleukin 1beta irrespective each other with the record of permissible diapason permit diagnosing the early stages of disease, estimate its dynamics and make provisions against its further development.

ABSTRACT

Cor pulmonary remains one of the actual tasks of modern pulmonogy, cardiology. The aim of the investigation is working-out algorithm diagnoses of cor pulmonary on the grounds of mathematical modeling and analyses of the results of several instrumental indices. The results of the investigation indices showed that worked-out by means of mathematical analyses the dimensionless coefficients permit find out the necessary instrumental indices for CP diagnose. Dimensionless coefficients promote control over the efficiency of treatment and also enable the development of new optimal scheme CP therapy.

ABSTRACT

A mathematical analysis of the data bank collected on duodenal ulcer patients has been performed using adapted to computer processing coded disease histories. Most informative signs of ulcerogenesis, diagnostic indicators of peptic ulcer have been selected and ranged. The review of peptic ulcer diagnostic criteria is presented.

ABSTRACT

It has been studied the role of intracysternal administration of neuropeptides--five analogous of 8-lysinvasopressin (LVP) [Des-9-Gly-cine-amide-LVP (DGLVP), Tri-Gly-LVP, deamino-LVP (1--beta-mercaptopropionic acid-LVP), Leu4-LVP, Asn1,6-LVP] and two cardiotrop hexapeptides (acetylated and non) separated from the hypothalamus in the regulation of various types of RNA (GC and AU types n-RNA, r-RNA, t-RNA) biosynthesis in the brain. Using the combined method of phenol extraction, differential ultracentrifugation, gel-filtration and ultraviolet spectroscory of various types of RNA has been shown the increase in the content of r-RNA and t-RNA under the influence of DGLVP, Leu4-LVP and cardiotrop hexapeptide. Deamino-LVP, Tri-Gly-LVP and acetylated hexapeptide stimulate the rise in the content of r-RNA and AU type n-RNA (precursor of m-RNA). Ans1,6-LVP shows a nonspecific influence on the biosynthesis of the brain RNA. It has been suggested a hypothesis about a participation of the neuropeptides in the regulation of various types of the brain RNA biosynthesis, as a primary messanger (starting signals) during the stimulation of the initiation of cycloadenylate- and cycloguanylate-sensitive transcription, via phosphorylation of diverse RNA-polymerases. It was given a scheme of interaction between the messanger conception of neuropeptides and cyclic-3', 5'-monophosphate nucleotide-dependent transcription by which the cycloadenylate-dependent transcription appears to play a great role in the r-RNA and t-RNA biosynthesis and the cycloguanylate-dependent transcription -- in the biosynthesis of m-RNA.

ABSTRACT

Quantitative changes of various forms of ribonucleic acids [nuclear (n-RNA), ribosomal (r-RNA), transport (t-RNA)] as well as ribonuclease activity have been studied in rat brain, in its nuclear, ribosomal and supernatant fractions following 3,5-cyclic AMP (c-AMP) and S-adenosyl-L-methionine. These substances were shown to raise the levels of r-RNA in brain and reduce the amount of n-RNA of GC type. c-AMP was also found to reduce the n-RNA of AU type and t-RNA in brain, while S-adenosyl-L-methionine does not affect n-RNA of AU type and raises considerably t-RNA. S-adenosyl-L-methionine has been found to raise the levels of all kinds of RNA while c-AMP has no effect. Ribonuclease activity of nuclear, ribosomal and supernatant fractions (105,000 g) of brain has been found to be enhanced by c-AMP while S-adenosyl-L-methionine raises ribonuclease activity of ribosomal fraction only at pH 7.9. The data obtained indicate that c-AMP and S-adenosyl-L-methionine are of importance in the mechanisms regulating the level of nucleic acids and activity of enzymes involved in their metabolism.

ABSTRACT

Ribonuclease activity of nuclear, ribosomal and soluble fractions and DNA linked RNA polymerase activity of rat brain has been studied following alimentary, conditioned alimentary stimulation and conditioned alimentary inhibition. During alimentary and conditioned alimentary stimulation ribonuclease activity is considerably reduced at pH 5.4; 6.0; 7.9 and 8.1 but not at pH 7.6. Under these same conditions ribonuclease activity is high in soluble fraction. DNA-linked RNA-polymerase activity increases during stimulation. During conditioned alimentary inhibition ribonuclease activity of various subcellular fractions is also reduced. Ribonuclease activity of soluble fraction is lower than that observed during stimulation. During inhibition DNA-dependent RNA-polymerase activity is also significantly raised. The significant reduction of ribonuclease activity of nuclear and ribosomal fractions and the significant increase of DNA-dependent RNA-polymerase activity in the nuclear fraction during stimulation and inhibition of brain activity indicate the importance of RNA-polymerase and the biosynthesis of different kinds of RNA during activity of higher brain centers.
