ABSTRACT
To enhance stress resistance in pupils is now a very urgent problem. The influence of a method affecting the central nervous system as acquisition of the averaged value of intrinsic respiratory rhythm has been studied. There has been a positive result of using the procedure to increase working capacity during performance by pupils and positive changes in electroencephalographic readings, by optimizing the autonomic provision for their activity.

An electroencephalographical survey of 28 healthy children and 87 children with mild types of consequences of CNS perinatal damage has been carried out. The children's age was 1-3 years. The patients have been divided into clinical subgroups as follows: with sleep disorders (24), with myotonic syndrome (20), with general speech underdevelopment (22) and with delayed mental development (21). The results revealed changes in the activity of stem structures as well as of different cortical regions in the groups of children with clinical appearances. Moreover, the data obtained showed specific changes of cross-correlations between cortical regions depending on clinical presentations.
