ABSTRACT

60 patients with chronic atrophic gastritis and secretory insufficiency allied with chelicobacterial infection in combination with chronic unlithic cholecystitis or diskinesia of choledoch ways were explored with a view to study the efficiency of dietary cure including biologically active food supplements--flavonoids source. Fortification of the patients food intake with flavonoids-containing biologically active food supplements benefits mucous membrane of gastroduodenal zone that is evidenced in decrease of activity of pyloric chelicobacteriosis and resolvent and reparative effect, it also contributes to normalization of hepatobiliaric system condition and antioxidant status.

ABSTRACT

The high abundance of functional disorders of a gastrointestinal tract stipulates an urgency of studies dedicated to their complex treatment and preventenance. The complex treatment of functional snaps is necessary to base on the system of measures which are powering up medical power supply, a fissile way of life, recovering of regularity of the act of defecation, normalization of the emotional status of the patients. The article considers characteristics of different kinds of probiotical substances and factors which provide normalization of intestinal microbial balance and related to probiotical action.

ABSTRACT

Sour milk product "Bifeedock" and biologically-active food additives of "Litovite" and "Pektsecom" type are used in the overall treatment of functional constipation and accompanying colon disbacteriosis of I and II degree. They help to improve the clinical symptomatics and the functional state of the gastrointestinal tract. According to the data analysis, the elimination of the colon stasis results in the improved microbiocenosis expressed in the suppression of growth of conditionally pathogenic microflora. It also stimulates the growth of the symbiotic elements of microbiota (bifidobacteria, lactobacteria and the intestinal E. coli).

ABSTRACT

The levels of diene conjugates (DC) and TBA-reactive substances (TBA-RS) were studied in serum blood of patients with gastritis before and after including in diet of monosodium glutamate (MSG). For investigation 15 patients were selected who had unacid or subacid signs determined by histamine test. It was shown that levels of DC and TBA-RS were increased in serum of patients. MSG increased the gastric secretion in patients but had no effect of levels of DC and TBA-RS in serum.

ABSTRACT

Monosodium glutamate (MSG) taken per os has been found to stimulate gastric secretion provoked by pentagastrin. MSG gave rise to a marked elevation of endogenic gastrin levels both in experimental animals and atrophic gastritis patients. Thirty-six patients with secretory gastric insufficiency received MSG as an additive to their food during combined therapy of their disease. The preparation proved to be well-tolerated, good stimulant of gastric secretion, efficient in digestion improvement. MSG is recommended as an adjuvant in combined therapy of atrophic gastritis.

ABSTRACT

The analysis of treatment of 769 patients with acute mastitis enabled the authors to recommend the method of active surgical treatment which allowed shortening the time of the hospital and following ambulant treatment of the patients. The immune reactivity was found to be decreased in patients with severe and continuous course of the disease. So, the complex therapy of such patients must include immunological drugs.
