ABSTRACT

The objective of this study was to analyze echocardiographic parameters in 143 healthy individuals aged 18-21 years with different somatotypes. The evaluation of somatotype was performed using the the method of R.N. Dorokhov and V.G. Petrukhin (1989). During the echocardiography, left ventricular wall thickness, internal diameter and myocardial mass were measured. The investigation showed marked sex- and somatotype-related differences in left ventricular parameters. The correlations between the studied left ventricular parameters and body mass, length and surface area were demonstrated. The optimal method of the indexation of left ventricular myocardial mass as related to (body length)3, is described.

ABSTRACT

The front straight projections roengenograms and fluorograms of the chest of 1379 healthy persons of both sex, aged 17-22 were studied. Their somatic type was defined beforehand on the gabarital variation level. It was determined that the basic diaphragm roentgeno-anatomical characteristics (the height and form of its dome, the distance from the highest point of the right diaphragmatic dome to the right clavicle shadow-the chest height) have pronounced typical features. The interdependency between the diaphragmatic domes form and the cardiovascular position was detected.

ABSTRACT

The front straight projection roentgenograms of the chest of 1210 healthy persons of age 17-22 and 212 roentgenograms of the chest in left side projection were studied. Their somatic type was defined beforehand on the different variation levels. It was determined, that the position and size of the cardiovascular shadow depend on the somatic type on the gabarital, componental and proportional variation levels. The cardial position and roentgeno-cardiometrical indexes' values of the both sex persons of different somatic types are described.
