ABSTRACT

Legumes are one of the cheapest protein sources. But most of them contains inhibitors tripsin and needs in long processing. Micronization and cooking of legumes only partly destructs the protease inhibitors. The using this products as fast processing food is unwished.

ABSTRACT

The authors have developed an enzyme immunoassay test system for measurements of the specific cerebral alpha 2-glycoprotein (alpha 2-GP), whose sensitivity limit is 0.8 ng/ml. Blood serum alpha 2-GP level is 7 ng/ml, cerebrospinal fluid level is 12.8 ng/ml in health; detection of alpha 2-GP in these biological fluids in concentrations surpassing such values indicates impairment of the hematoencephalic barrier permeability and active release of the cerebral proteins into the blood. The hematoencephalic barrier is most frequently disrupted in the brain-blood direction in purulent meningitis, encephalitis, open craniocerebral injuries; such impairments may be detected with the use of alpha 2-GP measurements. A direct correlation between the blood serum alpha 2-GP level and the severity of the disease clinical course has been revealed.

ABSTRACT

In the immunization process of rabbits with the protein fraction of the water-salt extract from human brain partially and concentrated at 500-600 times was received antiserum revealed brain specific alpha 2-globulin that is not identical to the known cytoplasmatic brain specific antigens. This antigen has got electrophoretic mobility of alpha 2-globulins, molecular weight 90 +/- 10 kD and isoelectric point 4.1-5.4. Develop the procedure for purification of this antigen on the basis of the combination ion change, affinity, hydrophobic chromatography gel-filtration and isochromatofocusing.
