ABSTRACT

345 servicemen from Air Forces were being examined. That group consisted of 105 servicemen working in deepened special constructions (DSC), 62 from flying staff and 178 from compact sampling. Statistical processing of questionnaire results and the data of gastroenterological examination have shown that main well-known ethiopathogenetic factors influence negatively during the course of chronic gastroduodenetic pathology in servicemen. By the way the main element of pathogenesis in DSC personnel is Helicobacter pylori invasion, and in flying staff is an alimentary factor and unhealthy habits.

ABSTRACT

Acidogenic function of the stomach and role of gastroesophageal reflux were assessed in relation to esophagitis genesis in 92 patients with portal hypertension and varicosity of the stomach and esophagus. Acidogenic function was found heterogenous. The relationship between gastric acidity, gastroesophageal reflux and esophagitis development seemed obscure, whereas that between esophageal varicosity of a definite degree and esophagitis was clear-cut.

ABSTRACT

The paper is concerned with a comparative assessment of the efficacy of employment of various methods of drug administration with the help of an injection needle through a gastric fibroscope in the multimodality therapy of duodenal ulcer patients. The assessment of the administration of gastrosol to 33 patients, solcoseryl to 27 and the granulocyte concentrate to 42 showed that most effective was administration of the granulocyte concentrate in the presence of antacids and cholinolytics. The employment of this method in multimodality therapy of duodenal ulcer made it possible to reduce the time of cicatrization and obtaining a good clinical remission.
