ABSTRACT

In this study the antagonistic activity of strains Bacillus amyloliquefaciens subsp. plantarum IMV B-7404 and BIM B-439D against bacterial and fungal pathogens of agricultural crops has been researched. It is shown that both strains of bacilli demonstrated a high level of antagonism to the vascular bacteriosis pathogen, average level of antagonism to micromycetes--root rot pathogens. To ofiobulez pathogen strain B. amyloliquefaciens subsp. plantarum BIM B-439D was more active. Cultural liquid of this strain effectively inhibited the spore's germination of pathogenic micromycetes Penicillium expansum and Botrytis cinerea. Both strains of bacilli synthesized several hydrolytic exoenzymes: proteases, amylases, ß-glucanases, chitinases and xylanases. The obtained data suggest the possibility of expanding the range of strain B. amyloliquefaciens subsp. plantarum BIM B-439D application for plant protection, as well as the need for further researches of the exometabolites spectrum of strain B. amyloliquefaciens subsp. plantarum IMV B-7404 and their biological activity in order to create an effective bioformulation for crop protection.

ABSTRACT

We have surveyed the most well-known and accessible informational resources, consolidating data on interactions of molecular biological objects. Three main criteria are discussed: quality (coverage and reliability) of the information present, ability to analyze experimental data, and ease of results visualization. Several algorithms of data analysis, base on various types of resources, and statistics for its evaluation are named.

ABSTRACT

Complete profiles of phospholipid and ceramide molecular species from erythrocyte lipid extracts of children without carbohydrate metabolism disorders, and children with type 1 diabetes were compared by means of high performance liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry. For the first time a statistically significant increase (p<0.05) of lysophosphatidylcholine content in two groups of diabetic children with different duration of the disease (less than one year and more than one year) was found. Statistically significant changes in other lipid classes were not observed. The dependence of the content of phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine molecular species containing arachidonic acid residue (20:4) on the duration of the disease was found. The observed shift in lipid metabolism suggests of phospholipase A2 and chronic inflammatory process at different stages of diabetes mellitus, in cells (erythrocytes), which aer not involved in the immune response.
