A politicidade no fazer pesquisa: sobre uma maneira de pesquisar e de escrever / The politicity in to do research: about a way to research and to write / La politicidad en el hacer investigación: sobre una manera de investigar y de escribir

Este artigo tem por objetivo colocar em análise o modo do pesquisar e o modo do escrever (como constitutivo inerente ao pesquisar), tomando por fio condutor tanto a relação da sensibilidade com o pesquisar, como a memória em sua relação com o escrever. Considerando que as condições da produção de conhecimento se dão numa sociedade de governo de uns sobre os outros, todo o desenvolvimento desse texto está na evidenciação de um saber-fazer tecido no plano de vidas insurgentes, na tensão tanto de valores hegemônicos que balizam a produção do conhecimento (como os herdados do platonismo), como tornando problemáticas ideias basilares que justificam a intolerância, que fundam relações segregantes e que criam violência de uns para com outros. Esse artigo, dessa forma, indica o exercício efetivamente político que caracteriza tanto o pesquisar, como o escrever, e toma como elemento analítico uma narrativa-memória.(AU)

The objective of this articles is to put analysis a mode to research and a mode to write (as a constituent inherent in research), using a thread the relationship of sensitivity with the search, such as memory in its relationship with write. Considering the conditions of knowledge production take place in a government society of a on the other, throughout the development of this text is on the evidenciation of know-how tissue in the lives of oppressed plan, serving as tension of the hegemonic values that guide the production of knowledge (such as inherited from Platonism) as making problematic basic ideas that justify intolerance, founding segregating relations and create violence toward each other. El objetivo de este artículo es colocar en análisis el modo de investigar y el modo de escribir (como constitutivo inherente al investigar), tomando para eso como línea conductora, la relación entre la sensibilidad y el investigar, la memoria en esa relación con el escribir Considerando que las condiciones de la producción de conocimiento se dan en una sociedad de gobierno de unos sobre los otros, todo el desarrollo de este texto está en evidenciar un saber-hacer urdido en el plano de vidas insurgentes, en la tensión tanto de valores hegemónicos que balizan la producción del conocimiento (como los heredados del platonismo), colocando problemáticas en ideas basilares que justifican la intolerancia, que fundan relaciones segregadas y que crean violencia de unos para con los otros. Este artículo, de esta manera, indica el ejercicio efectivamente político que caracteriza tanto el pesquisar, como el escribir, y toma como elemento analítico una narrativa-memoria.(AU)

Jogos eletrônicos violentos e estratégias de resolução de conflitos de jovens da cidade de Vitória / Violent electronic games and interpersonal conflict solving strategies among young players from the city of Vitória

Objetivou-se investigar possíveis relações entre a prática de jogos eletrônicos e condutas violentas em jovens. Participaram da pesquisa 57 freqüentadores de Lan Houses localizadas na Região Metropolitana da Grande Vitória. Estes, responderam uma versão adaptada para a faixa etária da Escala Children´s Action Tendency Scale (CATS). Em uma segunda etapa, os dez participantes que obtiveram os escores mais altos e os mais baixos de violência no CATS responderam a uma entrevista sobre a prática de jogos eletrônicos e sobre diversos aspectos relacionados à violência e à agressividade. De maneira geral, observou-se que a maioria dos participantes assinalou respostas assertivas na escala CATS. Quanto à entrevista, aspectos pouco consistentes relativos a condutas violentas foram encontrados. (AU)

The aim of this research was to investigate the relations between the practice of violent electronic games and aggressive tendencies among adolescents. The participants were 57 costumers of Lan Houses located in the City of Vitória. The participants answered aversion age adapted of the Children’s Action Tendency Scale (CATS). After that, the 10 participants that obtained the highest and the lowest violence scores were interviewed about the practice of electronic games and some aspects related to violence and aggressiveness. In general, it was observed that the majority of the participants favored assertive answers in the CATS scale. In the case of the interview, low consistent aspects related to violent behavior were found. (AU)

Physical and functional interaction between the Bloom's syndrome gene product and the largest subunit of chromatin assembly factor 1.

Bloom's syndrome (BS) is a genomic instability disorder characterized by cancer susceptibility. The protein defective in BS, BLM, belongs to the RecQ family of DNA helicases. In this study, we found that BLM interacts with hp150, the largest subunit of chromatin assembly factor 1 (CAF-1), in vitro and in vivo. Colocalization of a proportion of the cellular complement of these two proteins is found at specific nuclear foci coinciding with sites of DNA synthesis in the S phase. This colocalization increases in the presence of agents that damage DNA or inhibit DNA replication. In support of a functional interaction between BLM and CAF-1, we show that BLM inhibits CAF-1-mediated chromatin assembly during DNA repair in vitro. Although CAF-1 activity is not altered in BLM-deficient cells, the absence of BLM does impair the ability of CAF-1 to be mobilized within the nucleus in response to hydroxyurea treatment. Our results provide the first link between BLM and chromatin assembly coupled to DNA repair and suggest that BLM and CAF-1 function in a coordinated way to promote survival in response to DNA damage and/or replication blockade.
