ABSTRACT
A traumatic diaphragmatic hernia is a well-known complication following abdominal trauma. It occurs in approximately 3% of abdominal injuries with a 2/1 ratio of penetrating trauma. These injuries remain undiagnosed in nearly half of the patients in the acute phase. Hence, delayed presentation, days or even years after the onset of the initial trauma, are not uncommon. Indeed, they are often revealed by a complication. It's exactly what happened with our patient who presented with an acute tension fecopneumothorax, resulting from diaphragmatic herniation and perforation of the colon in the pleural cavity. This presentation is rarely reported. In a search of the literature, only 11 cases could be found.

We report a case of recurrent villous tumors (1989-1995) of the second duodenum. The diagnosis of these rare tumors was obtained by endoscopy. Risk of recurrence and degeneration raise the question of surgical or endoscopic treatment.

Dislocations of the sternoclavicular joint are uncommon, and the posterior variety have a potential for considerable morbidity. We report a case with compression of the vital structures within the superior mediastinum. It was a rugby player getting run over by the scrum. The mechanism was an indirect force exerted forward and laterally against the shoulder. The patient complained of pain and dysphagia. A systolic right cervical murmur was heard. Angiography was normal and esophagography showed extrinsic esophageal compression. Surgical reduction was performed because there was a slight pneumomediastinum on the computed tomography. This case report demonstrates the mechanism, complications, and treatment of such a lesion.

Authors present a case of spontaneous rupture of internal iliac artery in common iliac venous, and propose a review of cases reported in literature. Abreast of modern imagery and especially computed tomography is able to give a precise diagnosis, but angiography is the Most accurate procedure for detecting arteriovenous fistula and cannot be excluded out of diagnostic approach.

Bilateral hemorrhage of the adrenal gland is a rare disease in adults. Although stress is often said to be the cause, it is rarely observed. The non specific clinical manifestations, and the absence of adrenal insufficiency demonstrate the importance of radiology. The diagnosis is made by ultrasonography and CT scan, which reveals an oval adrenal mass of high density that subsequently decreases in both size and density.

The authors report two cases of renal oncocytoma treated by radical nephrectomy. There is still a controversy because the term oncocytoma is used for all tumors containing oncocytes, either true oncocytoma or adenocarcinoma with oncocytoma cells. The main problem is to distinguish, prior to surgery, between renal oncocytoma, a tumor with benign evolution, and renal adenocarcinoma with oncocytes, to offer conservative surgery for renal oncocytoma.
