A comparative electrochemical and gravimetric evaluation of the corrosive effect of disinfectant and sterilizing media on medical materials has found that presently applied solutions have a considerable corrosive effect. New compositions on the basis of peroxocompounds of carbonic acids proved more promising for the treatment of medical instruments.
