ABSTRACT

Mallophaga parasitizing wild and domestic birds in the Central Ciscaucasia were studied; 8805 chewing lice specimens were collected and identified. At present, 102 species of Mallophaga are known from this territory, including 15 species recorded in the Central Ciscaucasia for the first time. Most of the chewing lice species in the region under study are parasites of Passeriformes. Species diversity of chewing lice connected with each of other 12 bird orders is several times lesser. The exchange of chewing lice between some species of hosts, particularly between domestic and wild birds, seems possible.

ABSTRACT

A mechanism of basic serum blood antioxidant ceruloplasmin interaction with membrane surface of the monolayer from distearoyl phosphatidylcholine was investigated. It was shown that an important component of this interaction is an arising of a bond within negatively charged side chains of ceruloplasmin aminoacids and phosphate groups of monolayer film and change of packing density due to this interaction.

ABSTRACT

Interaction of two groups of bioregulators, which oppositely affect activity of adenylate cyclase and phosphoinositide cellular signaling systems, with the Langmuir monolayer films made of natural lecithin was studied. Most significant influence on the structural and energy characteristics of lipid monolayers was revealed for the group of bioregulators, which inhibit polyphosphoinositide signaling system or/and activate adenylate cyclase signaling system. It is shown, that using the cluster analysis the bioregulators can be divided into two groups according to general orientation of their action on the considered systems of transduction of a signal.

ABSTRACT

Interaction of ATP and its derivative "ATP-LONG", the preparations raising general resistanse of an organism to physical stress, with the model phospholipid monolayer membrane of distearoylphosphatidylcholine has been investigated. It is shown, that these substances interact with a monolayer under partial embedding of a purine base between the phospholipid molecules. However their regulatory influence cannot be explained only by the effect of plasmatic membrane lipid components on physical parameters.
