ABSTRACT

Investigations of Applied Nutrition Programs (ANP) in Caribbean islands of St. Lucia and St. Kitts included exanimation of educational methods causing improvement of food habits and assessment of indices denoting improvement. These were weight-height-length and food intake data of mothers and children. From the results it was was concluded that ANP had been chiefly responsible for improvement in food habits reflected in better weight-height-length of pilot participants
