[Healing of lesions on the guinea pig femur under administration of flavichromin]. / Defektheilung am Meerschweinchenfemur unter Gaben von Flavichromin.

The healing of bony defects of the femur in guinea pigs is markedly accelerated after administration of 10 microgram of Flavichromin, an anabolic agent. Fluorescent microscopic studies showed an early transformation in the perivascular lamellar bones, particularly in the callus of the defect region.
