ABSTRACT

Studies covered 168 personal computer users, 98 jewelry female polishers, 64 assemblers of metallic ship frameworks. Various doses of laser rays in accordance with work conditions appeared effective for improving upper limbs microcirculation. The suggested method is based on effects of low-intensity laser irradiation.

ABSTRACT

Study covered 120 personal computer users, 98 jewelry female polishers, 64 metallic ships body assemblers. Objective investigations revealed joints pain on palpation, joints function disorders, hypoesthesia of finger tips. After prevention measures based on low-intensity laser rays, the joints functions recovered, hands edema disappeared, hypoesthesia cleared.

ABSTRACT

Study covered 84 personal computer users, 48 jewelry female polishers, 92 metallic ships body assemblers. Objective investigations revealed lower limbs joints stiffness. After prevention measures based on low-intensity laser rays, the joints functions recovered.

ABSTRACT

Some mechanisms of general and local effects of laser radiation with various wavelength were considered. Both stimulating and stress effects of low-intensive laser radiation realized via antioxidant and free-radical pathways were shown. It was found that the level of SH and SS-groups in tissues and blood is the most sensitive index of laser effect. Measurements of SH and SS-groups concentration are recommended as criterion of harmless laser use in clinics.

ABSTRACT

In the dynamics of a chronic experiment and after it, the state of the cornea and blood circulation in the uveal tract were investigated, along with the morphological studies of the occipital areas of the brain (area 17) and calculations of the thermal processes in the cornea tissues. Results of the complex studies confirmed that opacification of the cornea was not induced by the damaging heat effect of the CO2-laser irradiation with the energy of illumination at 4.2 x 10(-2) Wt.cm-2 in 120 day-long period.

ABSTRACT

In a four-month experiment with 102 male rabbits and 42 HRS/U mice and 30 days after termination thereof, study was made of local and general response of an organism to the effect of laser radiation (10.6 microns wave length and energy exposition 1/7 of the threshold). The radiation tolerance level was estimated.
