ABSTRACT

The study covered health state of medical personnel exposed to magnetic field in MRI-tomography offices. Findings are changes in functioning of cardiovascular and central nervous systems in a personnel group working with tomographs, that prove tension of adaptation processes due to occupational factors.

ABSTRACT

Findings are that major occupational risk factors of morbidity among hothouse female workers are unfavorable microclimate parameters: in hothouses for vegetables growing - high air temperature, high relateive humidity high air motion speed in summer; in hothouses for mushrooms growing - high humidity forced posture work. In occupational morbidity structure of hothouse female workers, the major place is occupied by acute respiratory viral infections, respiratory diseases (20.6%) and locomotory diseases (7.9%).

ABSTRACT

There was performed the identification of risk factors at the production of synthetic rubbers, priority factor of them is chemical. Results of researches testify to need of continuous monitoring of exposure of chemicals on atmospheric air of the residential territory for the purpose of securance of hygienic and ecological safety of the city.

ABSTRACT

In the present paper there is presented an analysis of the incidence of viral hepatitis B (HBV) in the territory of the Voronezh region in the dynamics and the effectiveness of the implementation of the specific prevention over the past fifteen years. During this period of time, there is observed a stable tendency to the decrease in the incidence of chronic forms from 100.2 per 100 thousand population in 2000 to 21.7 per 100 thousand population in 2014. When ranking the Voronezh region on the prevalence of HBV there were identified eight most affected districts, including the city of Voronezh. There was noted a distinct regularity for the reduction of the incidence of HBV in dependence on the inoculation rate.

ABSTRACT

UNLABELLED: The purpose of the study was the assessment of the effectiveness of vaccination against diphtheria in the Voronezh region over the epidemic period of 1993-1997 and epidemiological welfare during 2010-2014. MATERIALS AND METHODS: of the study: data of the official statistical reporting--forms number 1, 6, the serum level of antitoxic antibodies to diphtheria in 19319 healthy individuals were analyzed with the aid of epidemiological (descriptive and evaluative), immunological and statistical methods. RESULTS: During the epidemic rise of diphtheria (1993-1997) 75% of cases were amounted to the adult population of the Voronezh region, half of them--were not immunized against diphtheria. In 1993 there was begun mass vaccination of adult population, immunization coverage by 1998 reached 95%. According to seromonitoring data the share of seronegatives to diphtheria among cases examined during the period of 1995-2000 accountedfrom 11.9 to 24.9%. During the period of sporadic morbidity (1998-2007 years) among patients the 80% of cases have been vaccinated with an interval from the last inoculation of 3-5 years, which casts doubt on the effectiveness of vaccines. Since 2008 the incidence of diphtheria in the Voronezh region was not recorded. Against the background of 98% coverage of vaccination of the total population, the share of seronegatives for the last 5 years have decreased by 2.5 times and in 2014 reached the required performance. CONCLUSION: Documented inoculation indices fail to reflect the level of the actual protection against infection. In the conditions of the absence of the morbidity only serological monitoring is an objective criterion of the protectability of the population from infection.

ABSTRACT

THE THEME: Assessment of health risk from water chemicals to population health in the Voronezh regio. OBJECTS: Water sources, population of municipalities of the Voronezh region. THE NATURE AND AIM OF THE WORK: The substantiation of priority measures aimed at minimizing the human health risk due to chemical contamination of water fed for the needs of centralized water supply of population of the Voronezh region. METHODS: Method of human health risk assessment from environmental chemicals. THE RESULTS OF THE WORK: The priority pollutants of drinking water in municipalities are established. Also area of risk and the number of exposed population are identified.

ABSTRACT

The paper analyzes the results of monitoring the number and species composition of arthropods, which are of epidemiological and sanitary important, in the city of Voronezh in 1998 to 2007. Many years' periodical observations have revealed the main places of breeding for blood sucking insects and ticks, their ecological features, including these under antropogenic stress. There is evidence for the changes in the species composition and the influence of some species on the recent epidemiological situation, which permits the approaches to and tactics of preventive measures to be corrected at the present budgetary stage oriented to outcome, with emphasis on the most significant sections of work.
