[Autoradiographic study of the distribution of 99mTc-pertechnetate in rat testes]. / Avtoradiograficheskoe issledovanie raspredeleniia pertekhnetata-99mTc v iaichkakh krys.

It has been shown by direct radiometry that 99m Tc-pertechnetate is excreted from the rat testes according to the exponential dependence, the maximum accumulation being observed 10 minutes after the injection (0.5% per 1 g tissue of the injected activity). Autoradiography has revealed that most of the radionuclide is located in the vascular system of the testes, whilst the minor part in the seminiferous tubules, the maximum accumulation being reached one hour after injection. It is concluded that 99mTc-pertechnetate behaviour pattern in the testes is first of all determined by its content in the vascular system of the organ.
