[The use of low-intensity laser therapy under sanatorium-health resort conditions in proctology patients]. / Zastosuvannia nyz'kointensyvnoi lazeroterapiï v sanatorno-kurortnykh umovakh u khvorykh proktolohichnoho profiliu.

Use of helium-neon laser in complex treatment of patients with inflammatory processes of ano-rectal area was accompanied by anaesthetic effect and elimination of inflammation. Endoscopic laser therapy improved also colonic peristalsis.

[Laser therapy of chronic proctosigmoiditis at the Morshin health resort]. / Lazeroterapiia khronicheskogo proktosigmoidita na kurorte Morshin.

In treatment of 40 patients with chronic catarrhal proctosigmoiditis, the irrigation of the large intestine with the Morshin mineral water (in 20) and irradiation of the rectosigmoidal mucosa by means of helium-neon laser (in 20) were used. The more pronounced therapeutical effect was noted after irradiation.
