ABSTRACT
A adoção é uma das formas legítimas de constituição familiar, e é a mais cerceada por preconceitos, dúvidas e mitos os quais a prejudicam, haja vista o enorme contingente de crianças à espera de uma família, em instituições asilares. Hoje, mais do que o preconceito em relação ao ato de adotar, existem preconceitos em relação à adoção por homossexuais, à adoção por pessoas solteiras e tantos outros; através de olhares preconceituosos, machistas, heteronormativos e biologizantes, impossibilitase a adoção e a realização do sonho de tantas crianças e adultos de terem uma família afetiva e efetiva.
