ABSTRACT

We have developed the convenient methods for synthesis of polyfluorosalicylic acids and their derivatives. For the first time the biological properties of polyfluorosalicylates were investigated in vitro (permeability through the biological membranes, COX-1 inhibitory action) and in vivo (anti-inflammatory, analgesic activities, acute toxicity). Molecular docking of polyfluorinated salicylates confirmed in vitro and in vivo experiments.

ABSTRACT

Dental pulp hemodynamics in cases of dentine caries treatment by light cured nanocomposite materials was altered that was characterized by its changing indicators and changing hemodynamic regulation mechanisms depending upon carious cavity depth. Microvascular reaction in dental pulp upon hard dental tissues preparation was accompanied by hyperemia development in microcirculatory bed, its character and degree of expression depended upon carious cavity depth. This reaction was amplified after etching and light polymerization. Hemomicrocirculation normalizing in dental pulp after dentine caries treatment was achieved in 1 week in case of intact parodontal tissues and in 1 month in cases of catarrhal gingivitis and parodontosis.

ABSTRACT

Comparative study of the influence details of low-intensity pulse and continuous oscillation of laser radiation of red and infrared parts of spectrum upon microcirculation indices in comprehensive treatment of chronic parodontitis of light and middle severity was performed. For the first time the predominantly activating influence upon microcirculation in gingival tissues of the pulsed laser radiation in the red part of spectrum was established.

ABSTRACT

Gingival tissue blood circulation restoration after single implant implantation set in 4 and in 6 months after 2-3 implants introduction. In cases of abutment implant functional loading when treating partial dentition defect by single crowns and constructions with 2-3 abutment implants hyperemia was developed in gingival tissue microcirculatory bed that was later cut short in 1 and 6 months correspondingly.

ABSTRACT

Chironomus plumosus larvae from the polluted Shkolnoe lake, Kaliningrad, have 2n = 8 and 2n = 8 + B. In winter season we found 11 types of hetero- and homozygous inversions in A, B, C, D, E, and F arms whereas in summer season we registered 7 types of the same inversions in A, B, C, D, and E arms. All inversions with exception of the inversion in arm C correspond to Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. The arm IVG shows homozygous increase of centromeric heterochromatin more frequently in summer than in winter (34.4% as compared with 1.8%). The arm E has asynapsis 2 times less frequently in summer than in winter (21.4% as compared with 44.6%).

ABSTRACT

Reaction of the microvessels in the gingival periapical tissues on pulp extirpation was followed by hyperemia development in microcirculatory bed, its expression increased in proportion as parodontal inflammation intensified and further strengthened after root canal filling. Microcirculation normalization in the gingival periapical tissues after endodontic treatment of chronic pulpitis and pulp extirpation as part of endodontic treatment was evident in 1 month in intact parodontium and in 6 months in case of its inflammation.

ABSTRACT

The study of the parodontal tissues microcirculatory status of the abutment teeth in restricted dentition defect has established that microvessel reaction in gingival tissues at the stage of supporting teeth preparation was accompanied by development of congestion development in microcirculatory bed that was relieved in 2 weeks in intact parodontium and in case of its inflammation--increased even greater. Functional loading of supporting teeth in case of restricted dentition defect prosthetic treatment with bridge constructions led to congestive hyperemia in gingival microcirculatory bed that was relieved in 1-3 months depending upon the parodontium status.

ABSTRACT

The action of photodynamic therapy with 1% photoditasine gel upon hemo-microcirculation and oxygen exchange in periodontal disease treatment was studied. The photodynamic therapy increased capillary blood flow by 20-46% and its intensity by 18-64% that promoted trophic normalization of periodontal tissues and improved regulation mechanisms of tissue blood flow in microcirculatory system by enhancing myogenic microvessel activity that normalized tissue blood flow and reduced venous congestion in gingival tissues, increased oxygenation of gingival tissues by 21-47%, decreased the time and speed of oxygen delivery and utilization thus normalizing oxygen metabolism in periodontal tissues. According to the data of fluorescent spectroscopy in case of photodynamic therapy conducting it was established that maximum application time of 1% photoditasine gel is 8-10 minutes. Density of low intensive laser radiation in continuous regime ranged from 80 to 100 J/cm(2) depending upon inflammation severity in periodontium.
