ABSTRACT
A instituição família tem passado por mudanças significativas na transição do modelo tradicional-patriarcal ao contemporâneo. Este estudo teve por objetivo apresentar uma revisão integrativa acerca da experiência da conjugalidade e parentalidade por casais do mesmo sexo em comparação a casais heterossexuais. A partir de uma busca empreendida nas bases/bibliotecas LILACS, PubMed, PePSIC, PsycINFO e SciELO (2007-2018), foram recuperados 23 estudos. A revisão permitiu responder à pergunta norteadora, por meio das publicações indexadas em bases nacionais e internacionais. Fica evidente que as maiores diferenças aparecem no modo como a sociedade percebe os casais do mesmo sexo, persistindo ainda muitos preconceitos e estigmas que desqualificam outros padrões familiares dissidentes dos tradicionais. Este estudo evidenciou lacunas importantes em termos de estudos empíricos que permitam compreender melhor como são as vivências desses casais e como organizam suas rotinas com filhos.
The family institution has undergone significant changes in the transition from the traditional-patriarchal model to the contemporary. This study aimed at presenting an integrative review of the experience of marriage and parenthood by same-sex couples compared to heterosexual couples. From a search undertaken in LILACS, PubMed, PePSIC, PsycINFO and SciELO databases (2007-2018), 23 studies were retrieved. The review allowed to answer the guiding question, through the publications indexed in national and international bases. It is clear that the greatest differences appear in the way society perceives same-sex couples, and there are still many prejudices and stigmas that disqualify other family patterns diverging from traditional ones. This study has highlighted important gaps in terms of empirical studies that allow a better understanding of the experiences of these couples and how they organize their routines with children.
